On August 1, 2006 I started work as the GIS Librarian at a major research institution. I am…an angry gis librarian…pushing toward a kind of geoinformatics librarianship…tech-savvy…embarrassed that librarians let this happen and weren’t themselves responsible. This blog is meant to be a non-affiliated supplement to that work; a kind of relaxed compliment to the more official work I do there as a professional academic librarian.
